11/12/2011 BCPS Teams Win Big at MCA Susquehanna Scholastic chess Tournament
On Saturday November 12th, students from Baltimore City College and Hamilton Elementary Middle School traveled to northeast Maryland the compete in the MCA Susquehanna Scholastic Chess Tournament.Baltimore City College won first place in the High School Reserve division. Hamilton Elementary Middle School Won first place team in the Rally division. This is the second time Hamilton has won 1st place in the Rally division.
Notables:
Tyrone Holmes captured the 4th place individual trophy for City College.
Ronald Best captured the 2nd place trophy in the Rally section.
