Only students attending Baltimore City public schools who are part of a school team enrolled in the Baltimore City Chess Project may register. For more information, please read about the Chess Project on this site, or contact Steve Alpern at salpern@bcps.k12.md.us.

BKCL Tournament dates for the 2008-09 year are listed below. All tournaments will be held at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute on Saturdays 9 am - 1 pm (check-in begins at 8 am):

12/20/2008 Advanced players only (have participated in at least 2 tournaments or have a USCF rating >250)
1/17/2009 - Novice tournament
2/21/2009 - Novice tournament
3/28/2009 - Novice tournament
4/25/2009 - Middle and High School Championship

To register, coaches should click on "Get Involved" in the menu bar and then on the dropdown list, click on "Forms" to see and download tournament registration forms. Once you have printed and completed the forms, please mail or fax them to:
